How could you dislike Lacey Chabert?

In this movie, Sarah receives an anonymous invitation to spend Christmas at an inn. Upon arrival, she meets owner Ben and discovers that four other guests received the same mysterious invitation. As they attempt to unravel the mystery, they discover a connection from years ago.

I enjoyed this movie. It was heartwarming and sweet, and the cast of characters left me smiling. I loved the mystery behind the invitations, and, unlike most Hallmark movies, it was not entirely predictable. This one is definitely worth your time.

Looks like someone found a thesaurus!

Hallmark gets an A on: Lacey Chabert (Sarah); the Christmas chess set; the mystery; the inn (methinks I recognize it from The Mistletoe Inn, another great movie); the cast of characters; the cranberry/popcorn strings (I have never done this... perhaps I will try this year?); the Bluenote Trio record; cookie baking; the dress; Frenchie; Jasper; the song at the end

Hallmark gets a D on: Peter (the one who declined the invitation)

Grade: A

* Note Grading Scale:

A = This is seriously a good movie. It will remain on my DVR for the season.

B = Totally exceeded my expectations. I'm happy to recommend.

C = This is an average Hallmark movie. Good holiday fun.

D = I'm disappointed... but I watched it. Why not?

F = I actually had a hard time getting through this one. And that says a lot.
