Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Premiere | December 12, 2020

In this movie, Jessica is an orphaned heiress who was raised by her grandfather in a mansion with hideous Christmas decorations. Her mom grew up in a small town in Colorado where carolers dot the streets and bells ring every Christmas Eve. Jessica decides that she wants to hear the bells that were a part of her parents' love story, so she heads to Glenbrooke. There, she almost runs over a grumpy firefighter who later turns out to be perfect; she meets fun, quirky characters who treat her like family even though they just met; she discovers that she prefers small town life; and she plans a fundraiser that saves Christmas. Add in an argument, reconciliation, some corny lines, and a final kiss in the cold while wearing winter clothing, and you have a Hallmark movie.
Hallmark gets an A on: Autumn Reeser (Jessica); the real wood stove; Ruthie; Wyatt; the date; Jessica's grandfather

Hallmark gets a D on: the photoshopping; the blue Christmas decor at Autumn's mansion; the fake snow on the Christmas trees (I suspect detergent bubbles); the stupid fight at the end; the corny writing
Grade: C
