Do not watch this movie. Seriously. Life is too short.

In this one, best friends Lauren and Colleen have a Christmas Coach business in which they help people with their decorating, shopping, and overall holiday-celebrating. I understand that Christmas adds a lot to one's to-do list, and there are certainly days when I wish I had my own Christmas helper. However, as the crux of the plot for an entire movie, this is a stupid job. First, what does a Christmas Coach do during the other 11 months of the year? Second, a Christmas Coach would have to be prepared to have many clients at once, yet Colleen frantically calls Lauren when she gets two new calls after they have already taken on a job. Do they not realize that everyone celebrates Christmas at the same time? How do you expect to sustain a business with only one client per year? Finally, as far as Christmas Coaches go (let's pretend it's a thing), Lauren is not even any good. Her decorations are terrible, she has awful gift ideas, and she thinks that you put a big red bow in the center of a Christmas tree. To top it all off, she's really annoying.
Hallmark gets an A on: real tree farm; the home's interior; the Rideau Canal Skateway (this actually looks awesome); snow polo (I checked, and it's real)
Hallmark gets a D on: the idea that Christmas Coaching is a job; making James a caricature of every known British stereotype; lack of chemistry; two leads; the weird fantasy sequences
Grade: F
* Note Grading Scale:
A = This is seriously a good movie. It will remain on my DVR for the season.
B = Totally exceeded my expectations. I'm happy to recommend.
C = This is an average Hallmark movie. Good holiday fun.
D = I'm disappointed... but I watched it. Why not?
F = I actually had a hard time getting through this one. And that says a lot.
