I'm not even sure that these two like each other... and we've got less than one minute before they have to kiss

Whenever I watch a Hallmark movie, I find myself wondering, "When do these people work?" Despite the fact that one character is a workaholic, Hallmark people get a lot of time off. Even at work, they're always leaving to go chop down a tree or buy some emergency Christmas decor. And so it comes as no surprise that, in this movie, Willow travels home to the mountains of Virginia for a four-week Christmas vacation.

Back in Virginia, Willow turns an inn that used to belong to her family into the perfect wedding venue for her sister. To do this, she must work with single dad David, who uses a lot of hair product. I kept waiting for Willow's big city boyfriend to visit and remind us of why hair-product David is so much better, but he never showed.

The best thing about this movie? The scarves. I would like to know if Hallmark's wardrobe department has one designated scarf person. If so, I want this person to create some youtube tutorials.

This movie might have gotten a higher grade if the characters were more likable and the movie more exciting. After the first hour, I was pretty bored, probably because I didn't actually care about anyone in the movie. My favorite character was Henry the stuffed reindeer, and he was missing for 1 hour and 56 minutes.

Hallmark gets an A on: Scarves; child actor; finding Henry (because we all know how devastating a lost stuffed animal can be)

Hallmark gets a D on: Hair product; excessive cookie eating; CGI snow; lack of chemistry; not incorporating a jerky boyfriend so that Willow could have an amicable breakup; the inn (it's just not attractive, and I have my suspicions that it's nothing but a facade sitting on a parking lot someplace that's not even cold)

Grade: D

* Note Grading Scale:

A = This is seriously a good movie. It will remain on my DVR for the season.

B = Totally exceeded my expectations. I'm happy to recommend.

C = This is an average Hallmark movie. Good holiday fun.

D = I'm disappointed... but I watched it. Why not?

F = I actually had a hard time getting through this one. And that says a lot.
